Visiting

The Crow Wing County Jail offers a self-service Inmate Video Visitation System, hosted by TurnKey Corrections®, as an interface for all public visits with inmates. This interface, accessible through a free account at www.InmateCanteen.com, provides the public with on-site and off-site video visitation privileges as well as the ability to set, cancel or participate in video visitation appointments.*

By working from a home computer or kiosks located in the jail lobby’s visitation room, www.InmateCanteen.com users with a valid government issued picture ID can request approval to engage in video visitation. Because each approval is inmate specific, users will need to submit an approval request for each inmate they wish to visit and all applicants will be checked for warrants and no contact orders.

Approval requests are reviewed daily and users will be notified by e-mail (if provided) as each request submitted is approved or denied. Once approved, users will be granted access to the video visitation scheduling tool at www.InmateCanteen.com.

*Please note that scheduling appointments and visiting from the jail lobby’s visitation room kiosks is free of charge but fees will be applied to the web user for all off-site scheduling or visitation activity.
