Cross Country Ski Trails

Motorized vehicles are prohibited on these trails and the trails are groomed regularly during winter months. These trails are also mowed in September and make fore great hunter / hiker trails. Enjoy!

Larson Lake Trail    

Directions: Larson Lake Trail is located south of Deerwood.  Follow State Hwy 6 south, turn left on Co. Rd. 10

Nordic Ridge Trail

Nordic Ridge Trail is a multi-purpose trail system; hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.  The terrain is level to hilly.  The trails are also open to public hunting for small and big game.  The forest is a mixture of scattered old pines with lots of young conifer plantings and young aspen growth.  Grooming updates and trail conditions can be obtained by checking SkinnySki. Report motorized trail violations on trails posted closed to motorized vehicles to Crow Wing County.  Map/Additional Info

Directions: Heading north on County Rd 3, head north towards Crosslake.  At the intersection of County Rd 3 and County Rd 66, head north on County Rd 66.  Then, take a right onto Daggett Pine Road.  The trail head is located behind the Crosslake Community Center which is well signed.

Wolf Lake Trail

Directions: South of Deerwood Shortcut turn south on Tower Road, turn right onto N. Nelson Road OR follow State Hwy 18 east from Brainerd, turn left on Co. Rd. 159, stay straight onto N. Nelson Road.

French Rapids Trail
