Getting Involved

The Sheriff is extremely grateful to the volunteers within our county that help contribute to his office's mission to protect and serve the residents of Crow Wing County. We have a number of volunteers who contribute in numerous ways to his office and without our volunteers these programs would not exist.

  • The Crow Wing County Dive Team was formed in 1987, and is made up of both law enforcement and civilian volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue of water accident victims and to the recovery of drowning victims.
  • The Crow Wing County Mounted Patrol is comprised of 20 active members who with their horses assist in the search and rescue of missing persons within the county.
  • TRIAD is represented among Crow Wing County with the partnership between area seniors, law enforcement professionals and the community.
  • Crow Wing County Jail Volunteers have the opportunity to volunteer in activities such as quilt making or teaching classes on parenting skills or money management.
