Public Fingerprinting

Fingerprints for licensing or other non-criminal purposes are done at the Crow Wing County Judicial Center, 213 Laurel Street, Brainerd, for a fee of $10.

This service is offered Monday through Friday, between the hours of 2:30pm and 4:45pm. An appointment is required and can be made by calling 218-822-7050 at least 1 day in advance of the requested date and time, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.

A valid picture identification and the $10 fee are required at the time of fingerprinting. Fees can be paid by cash, credit card or cashier check/money order. Prints are electronic and copies are available immediately.

NETStudy 2.0 Backgrounds

Community Services is now offering a fingerprint service for individuals to complete a background study. This service is reserved for people or staff within licensed daycares, child or adult foster homes or facilities. They are seeing people between 9:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday at this time. No appointment is needed. Community Services are only able to do NETStudy 2.0 backgrounds. Community Services does not do these for regular employment, or have the ability to do ink fingerprints. To complete a study the individual must have the authorization form (initiated by the employer or agency), fees paid, and a photo ID.
