2022 Aerial imagery now available for Crow Wing County residents

In the spring of 2022, we had aerial imagery captured for CWC by Pictometry. Crow Wing County GIS staff are excited to share that this flight had a resolution of 2”! In the past we captured 6” resolution imagery, so this was a significant improvement.

New Land Use Permit Application Software Going Live September 28th


The Crow Wing County Land Services Department is pleased to announce that beginning Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, a new and enhanced permit application and approval system will come online as a convenient way to apply for land-use related permits.

Absentee voting for the 11/8 General Election starts Friday 9/23

Voters who wish to vote early may come to the Historic Courthouse during regular business hours. Residents can vote by absentee ballot in person at the Elections Office on the second floor at 326 Laurel Street in Brainerd.

Protecting Groundwater Grants for Local Residents

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Begins 7/16/22

On 7/16/22, the US will transition to the 988 dialing code. 988 is a new three-digit number to call, text, or chat that connects people to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This is for anyone experiencing mental health–related distress.

Pick A Mile Program kicks off second year to assist in county road cleanup

The Pick A Mile program was first introduced June 2021 for residents to pick a mile of county roads to help in roadside cleanup. An easy to use app allows residents to reserve an available stretch of road to cleanup as a family, business or organization.
